Rooted Organic Beauty ("Rooted") was created to meet a need for cleaner haircare in Nashville, TN. After discovering how much better she felt after switching to non-toxic haircare products and color, Kara Elaine was determined to share this passion for clean beauty with the city she deeply loves and the people in it.
Kara‘s love for helping people look and feel beautiful on the inside and out has been a deep well of passion she’s drawn from throughout her entire life. As a licensed hairstylist for over 14 years, she was introduced to the world of organic color in 2018 after suffering from terrible migraines and health issues while using other haircare lines. She reaffirmed that commitment to only using safe, clean, organic or lowest-tox products after losing her dad (Rob) to cancer in 2020. He was an accountant and loved watching Kara grow as a stylist and business owner. Rooted Organic Beauty ("R.O.B.") is named in his memory.

Kara's favorite part of being behind the chair is the relationships she’s built with her clients and curating a comforting and inviting space for them to feel seen in. She has excelled at honing her craft and skill over the years at the direction of many world-class educators and continues to be excited about learning new things every day.
Kara loves all things creative including diy projects in her home in Nashville, gardening, decorating, flower-arranging, yoga, and being with her family.
Kara specializes in dimensional zone coloring and texture.

Areona Woodall
Lead Stylist
Areona is native to Nashville and grew up around the Donelson area. She discovered a love for hair early on and knew it was what she wanted to do with her life and as a career. She loves big transformations and getting to see the smiles on her guests' faces when they reach their hair goal! She is always up for a challenge and really enjoys blonding services.
When she's not at the salon, she loves spending time with her family, eating at local restaurants and shopping around Nashville.
Areonna is currently accepting specialized color and texture cuts.
Amanda Fasulo

Amanda believes in putting kindness into the world and taking care of your body from the inside out. She specializes in low-maintenance color to emphasize your natural features and help you feel your best while creating a color custom to you and your lifestyle.
In her free time Amanda loves to be outdoors and feels most alive when near water! New to Nashville, she loves exploring local coffee shops + boutiques.
Amanda speciailizes in blonding, balayage, and dimmensional color.
Maddison Waller
Elite Stylist
Maddison is a Nashville native who started her career in Philadelphia, where she spent years expanding her knowledge and learning how to customize color creations.
She loves getting her hands on all kinds of color projects and specializes in corrections and vivid tones (but does LOVE a good blonding or balayage sesh!) while keeping the value and integrity of the hair at heart. The chemistry and science combined with the artistic realm the world of hair provides allows her the ultimate outlet for creativity.
In her free time, Maddison loves thrifting for trinkets, finding inspiration around the city, thinking about her next tattoo, and watching classic horror movies with her Akita, Voorhees.
Maddison is also the Upper Cumberland Bigfoot Festival’s 3 time consecutive champion in Bigfoot Calling!
Maddison specializes in blonding, balayage, and vivids.

All prices are a starting point, may be different for each stylist (a la carte unless otherwise described) & subject to change due to hair thickness/length. At Rooted, you pay for time, and amount of hair you have, not your gender. Please don't hesitate to let us know your budget & we will do our best to find a service that might work within it or make other suggestions!
